2021 Season

As part of our Cultural Inclusion Outreach, LTWB is producing this wonderfully magical musical giving preference to people of color in all creative and technical positions. Only the great Stephen Sondheim could craft a Broadway masterpiece from beloved fairy tales.

Based on the wildly popular 1984 film, Footloose tells the story of Ren, a big-city teen, who moves to a small town and rebels against the rigorous local edicts of the town’s patriarch and pastor.

Welcome to the Toadstool Kingdom, a peaceful video game world ruled by Princess Pear and home to everyone’s favorite heroes — The Alfredo Brothers. This THEATRICAL PREMIERE, penned by local playwrights Ian Owens, Katie Owens, and Mike Wawzrynek is a is a story about family, friends, and gaining the courage to be Player 1 in your own life.

The fifth collaboration between Broadway legends Gilbert and Sullivan takes Little Theatre audiences on a trip back to the glorious theatrical era where modern Broadway finds its roots. Pirates, maidens, police, and Modern Major Generals….what’s not to love?

A dramatization by William Gibson of the volatile relationship between a lonely teacher and her student, who is trapped in a dark, silent existence, The Miracle Worker tells the story of Helen Keller, a blind and deaf little girl, and her teacher Annie Sullivan, in a heartwarming tale of heroic proportions.

LTWB is proud to continue the tradition of our biennial production of A Christmas Carol. With book and lyrics by Kevin Costley and music by Ted Anderson, this locally-grown musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic will truly be a family favorite.
