98th Season Announcement Gala

Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Each year Little Theatre invites the public to join us at Genetti’s Best Western for cocktails, dinner, and preview performances of our forthcoming season. Our gracious host Gus Genetti is a member of
our Community Advisory Board. Cost to the public is $40 which includes cocktails (open bar), dinner, and preview performances of ALL the plays and musicals on the 2020 calendar for Little Theatre, our 98th consecutive season. The Gala is organized by our Community Advisory Board, members listed below.

The finest actors in the region will perform songs and scenes from plays that we will present beginning in February 2020, our 98th consecutive season. We are among the longest-running community theatres in the United States. This year’s Gala features the piano stylings of Joanna Bryn Smith, Esq., during cocktail hour (and perhaps guest vocalists), with musical direction of performances by Kimberly Johnson. Décor will include memorable costumes, props, and set pieces from Little Theatre productions, along with vintage lighting and stage hardware.

Tea Time with Mrs. Potts and Friends

If you’re coming to our matinee, why not arrive early for Tea Time. What could be more lovely than real English tea (or milk), from an old china cup, with snacks, coloring, and a sing-along? Your friend Mrs. Potts (Toni Jo Parmelee) is your gracious host in the 1940 Little Theatre lobby. Some of her friends from Beauty and the Beast will stop by to say hello, too! Your cup and saucer go home with you as your souvenir.

Tickets for Tea Time are $15 per adult. Each adult may bring one or two children at no charge. Our tea party is limited to 40, so please reserve early.

Tickets for the matinee performance are sold separately at $20 per person.
